Young people up to the age of 18 years old can earn the title of "Milton Junior Historian", by completing a series of Scavenger Hunts during the Milton Museum Season.
How does it work?
When you visit the Milton Historical Museum, any Saturday from May through October and complete two different Scavenger Hunts in your age level, you will earn the title of Milton Junior Historian. At a ceremony during the Museum's Holiday Open House in December, all of those who completed the series of Scavenger Hunts will be recognized.
There are three Scavenger Hunt age groups: Little Explorers (ages 6 and under); Junior Sleuths (ages 10 and under); and Senior Sleuths (ages 11 - 18)). Adults may assist as needed and participants are encouraged to work together. The hunt is designed to be a fun activity that allows exploration of the different exhibits in the Museum. Prizes will be awarded for completing each phase. Scavenger Hunt forms are located at the Milton Historical Museum - just ask a friendly Museum volunteer for one when visiting!
