Join Audubon Vermont on a nocturnal adventure to celebrate warm summer evenings with the Milton Historical Society. Even though we will just miss National Moth Week, we can still come together to enjoy the beauty and diversity of moths! We will start the evening with a short sunset bird walk and see what birds we can identify. We will make the connection between birds and moths. Then we will work together to identify "butterflies of the night" and record our sightings. We will observe live moths that we lure in with a sheet and bait and record as many as we can for iNaturalist. All ages are welcome to come learn and discover with us. After the program, we will gather around the campfire for some delicious S’mores.

This event is being sponsored by Bob Devino & Pauline Kehoe
